Waterside Retreat Inside Box Card

This week’s card is a fun pocket design featuring the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper along with the new chair die from the Waterside Retreat Dies.

One of the most exciting features of this die set is that you can create two different chair styles simply by changing the die used for the back of the chair. The Misty Moonlight card showcases a chair that resembles an Adirondack style, while the Old Olive version creates the look of a classic Mission-style chair.

Friday, June 19, 2026 – Zoom Card Class

Date: June 19, 2026

Class Description:

We will be making eight cards in this class — two of each design shown above. NOTE: right now their is just a partial picture, the full picture is coming after the debut.

  • Far Left: A Z-Fold card featuring a pop-up sentiment in the center.
  • Second Card: A floating flower card on a pop-out tower.
  • Third Card: A more basic design. Please note that the Designer Series Paper will vary depending on which section of the paper you receive.
  • Far Right: A Triple Z-Fold card.

All of these cards feature the new Velvet Meadows Designer Series Paper, giving each design a beautiful velvety texture.

The large pink die cut is created from a full sheet of the velvet cardstock and embossed using the new embossing die.

*All Kits Include:

  • Cardstock (cut, punched, embossed, scored, or die-cut)
  • Designer Series Paper (cut, punched, embossed, scored, or die-cut)
  • Embellishments shown in the picture (e.g., rhinestones, ribbon, etc.)
  • Envelopes

Simple Waterside Retreat Cards

This week’s cards are two simple designs featuring the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper and the new Words & Wishes Dies from Stampin’ Up! These cards are part of the upcoming Zoom Card Class being held on May 22, 2026.

Last week’s cards were a One Sheet Wonder using a single sheet of the Waterside Retreat DSP. Over the next two weeks, I will continue featuring this beautiful DSP with fun fold card designs. These upcoming cards are also part of the May Zoom Card Class.

After the catalog debut on May 9, 2026, the class calendar will be updated with photos of all upcoming card classes through August. Bonus Card Kits will also be available each month for those who enjoy creating cards on their own using a step-by-step tutorial.

Waterside Retreat One Sheet Wonder

This set of cards features one sheet of the new Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper, which will be available beginning May 5, 2026. When this single sheet of DSP is cut apart and combined with coordinating cardstock and some of the new die-cut sets, it creates eight beautiful cards.

The free tutorial is available below, and a limited number of pre-cut kits will be available in May for $20 plus postage (if needed). Please use the “Email Me” button in the menu bar above to reserve yours.

The products used to create these cards are listed in the tutorial. However, a clickable supply list is not available since the products will not be released until May 5, 2026.

More cards featuring the Waterside Retreat DSP will be shared over the next three weeks, culminating with the Zoom Card Class on May 22, 2026. For additional details about the Zoom Card Class, please see the advertisement below or visit the Class Calendar.

Waterside Retreat Tutorial

May Zoom Card Class

Date: May 22, 2026
Time:  7 pm
Class Fee: $22 plus shipping if needed (calculated when ready to ship)

Class Description:

This class will require a bit of fussy cutting, as two of the four designs include cutting out the life vest and paddle. The life vests come in a variety of colors, so the ones in your kit may differ from those shown in the photo. However, they will all coordinate beautifully and come from the same sheet of Designer Series Paper.

We will make a total of eight cards in this class:

  • 2 Inside Box Cards (each featuring two life vests)
  • 2 Green Plaid Cards
    • Note: The sentiment on this card is a die cut and will be included in your kit.
  • 2 Bicycle Cards
    • Again, the sentiment is a die cut and will be included in your kit.
  • 2 Pocket Cards (shown at the bottom of the picture)
    • One blue card featuring floats
    • One green card featuring fish

These designs make great birthday cards! I used one of the new “manly” stamp sets, which includes “bruh” along with other fun slang sentiments.
