Landscape Double Fold Card

Today’s card is the first in a series of 4 cards featuring the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper. This card has a regular A2 size card base with an inner smaller card base creating an interlocking double card base card. This is a simple fun fold card that can feature DSP or Embossed cardstock or a combination as used in the sample. The inside features some of the stamps in the coordinating Pretty Florals stamp set.

The Florals in Bloom Suite Collection is featured on page 40 in the Annual Catalog and is part of the Suite Sale that ends on June 30. This particular suite includes two stamp sets and two die sets as well as coordinating DSP and 2025-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls.

Double Card Base Card Instructions

August Card Class: Gallery Blooms

Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
Time: 6 pm
Class Fee: $36 plus S&H if shipping is necessary (calculated when ready to ship)
RSVP by: 7/19 if you are not participating in the Summer Promotion

Class Description: We will be making 3 each of the four designs pictured above. Each card will use a different piece of Designer Series Paper from the Gallery Blooms DSP pack. So all 12 of your cards will look different. Below you will see all 12 cards. The fold out display card in the top middle of the picture will fit in the standard A2 envelope provided, but it does not meet the correct thickness standards for a first class postage stamp (ie: It will cost more to mail and will be safer in a padded envelope or enclosed with a gift package.) All the other cards should meet normal first class postage standards, even though the Arched card might be close and it might depend on how picky your post office worker is when checking it.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything for your card kit is pre cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise indicated. Card kits never include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. It does include cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that are pictured in the class advertisement.  Instructions for card kits can be found on my blog so if you miss class, you will still be able to assemble your cards.

Sunrise Sailing Pop Up Card

This week’s card is a box pop up card. While at the first impression it may seem complicated, it is an easy card to cut and assemble. There is definitely an order to follow to make it easier to make. The instructions in the free pdf file below, have step by step directions as well as a diagram of the card from the side to help construct the card.

The Sunrise Sailing bundle includes the stamp set, hybrid embossing folder, and dies. Check out last week’s blog to see other cards made with this bundle.

The Virtual Album Retreat Kit is now available for purchase. See the flyer below to view the 12 double page spreads that the kit includes (24 pages total which comes to $10.42 a page). Everything will be pre cut and bagged for you per double page spread. Classes will be held via Facebook Live and recordings will be available if you can’t be online live. Click below for flyer.

The Kit includes: 12 page protectors, 2 exclusive stamp sets, flip flaps, die cut sheets labeled for each layout, 12 plastic bags with all the pieces precut to make each layout, several die cut sheets labeled for each project, more die cuts in black and white, matte dots, and baker’s twine. You will need to provide your own glue and dimensionals. Instructions for assembly will be done via Facebook Lives in a special Facebook group that you will be invited to join. If you can join live the videos will be in the group for you to access at your leisure.

Sunrise Sailing Fun Fold Card

This week’s card is a fun fold similar to a matchbook card, but instead of stapling the bottom flap and tucking in the top, the bottom flap is attached to the top flap using hook & loop tape. The free instruction sheet below gives all the measurements and assembly instructions needed to make this card.

Today’s card features the Sunrise Sailing bundle and the fence from the Notes & Totes dies. Check back next week to see a pop up card made with the Sunrise Sailing bundle. Below you will see another Sunrise Sailing card using a combination of the stamp set and the hybrid embossing folder. Its card base was made with the new Party Banner die set.
