Turn Dollar Store Finds into Gifts

October 9, 2020 by Tracie

Today’s PDF file will be instructions on how to take a dollar store magnet calendar and note pad and turn it into a gift for a friend. These are not hard to make and you can decorate them using your friends favorite colors or theme to make it personal to them. I realize I should have made a pink flower on the outside to coordinate with the inside but I really wanted to use the Terracotta Tile Ribbon. I have also included instructions to make a simple Z-Fold card. I made the Z-Fold card with DSP from last year’s Annual Catalog but the Seaside Notions stamp set is still available.

Featured Stamp Set: Have a Hoot Bundle

These cards were made using the Have a Hoot stamp set and matching die cuts. The die cut for the openings in the cards actually cut out 3 tags as well. I used the negative die cut image as a frame for my stamped images for the cards and I used the positive images from the die cut to make 3 tags. This stamp set includes both Halloween and Christmas stamps together in one set.
