This week’s card features the Coneflower Celebrations die cut set. The base die for the stamped image is made to fold in half to make a shaped note card. The detailed petals and center are separate dies that add more details. In the sample, the die cut pieces were inked on the edges. For further details, see the free instruction sheet below.

Coneflower Celebrations Instruction Sheet

November Zoom Card Class

Class Description: We will be making two each of all four designs. Three of the card designs are fairly simple cards so that we have plenty of time to assemble the 3 tiered pull out card. Amazingly enough it is not a really thick card so it should mail quite well in a regular A2 sized envelope.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything for your card kit is pre cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise indicated. Card kits never include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. It does include cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that are pictured in the class advertisement.  Instructions for card kits can be found on my blog so if you miss class, you will still be able to assemble your cards.

Autumn Toile Step Card

The final card in the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper Series is a step card. It features the Autumn Tree die cut set. The card as shown above does not fit in a A2 envelope because the tree is over 4 1/4″ tall, but this is an easy fix by chopping the bottom off the trunk of the tree. Because it is hidden by the other steps in the card it should not be noticeable that the trunk was trimmed.

There are two free instruction sheets below the product list. The first one give specific instructions for cutting out embellishments for the Step card, while the second file gives instructions for making just the card base.

NOTE: I still have lots of discontinued product for sale. If you are a local customer, you can make an appointment to shop in person. If you are a customer I will be seeing at the Lancaster, Sandy Cove, or American Legion crop this fall, I can bring you your order (You still have to look at the list online, but I can save you shipping be delivering it to the event.) Unfortunately it’s too much stuff for me to bring to the in person events.

Layers of Autumn Toile

Today’s card is an older design with a fresh face. The Branching Out dies have a beautiful set of these layering rectangles with curved cut out corners. There are a total of 6 dies but only 5 are used in the sample above. To create this layered effect, one piece of Designer Series Paper is used and cut with three of the dies all at once. See the instructions below. The Early Espresso is cut with two of the dies. Yes, there will be holes in the paper, but it will all be covered by the last piece of DSP. The Branching Out die set also includes the pinecone and berry branch used on this card. The sentiment comes from the Traditionals Dies set. Check out all the materials used below and don’t forget to download a copy of the cutting and assembly instructions.

Class Description: We will be making two each of all 4 designs. Upper left hand card is a Band Stand Card made with the Kintsugi DSP. The middle back card is a folding box card and the Lights of Wonder DSP will be different on each card. The silhouette of tree card will also feature different Lights of Wonder DSP for each of your card kits. The final card features the Coneflower Dies.
