Welcome!
Welcome Letter
I am excited to be your hostess for Sandy Cove’s Craft Around the Clock (Feb 13- Feb 15, 2026). Our devotional speaker will be Karen Rickards and she along with Abigail Clarke will be my helpers for the entire weekend. Be sure to look at the bottom of this email for the section called “I Need to Know”
Our theme is “Friends are the Flowers in the Garden of Life”. If you would like to bring a small floral decoration to decorate your crafting area you are welcome to and you will earn an extra door prize ticket. This is optional.
New to Craft Around the Clock: Please bring your crafting supplies for whatever projects you would like to work on in your personal crafting space. Examples of what some ladies work on at Craft Around the Clock: Quilting, Painting, Paper Scrapbooking, Mosaics, Diamond Dots, Knitting, Crochet, Cards, Digital Scrapbooking, Wreaths, Jewelry, etc… While there are workshops offered and some crafting supplies available to purchase at Sandy Cove, you should bring your own crafting supplies or projects to work on Note: I do plan to have the craft buffet this year which will include non paper crafting projects so there will be plenty in the classroom to keep you busy. You will be inspired and might learn a new craft while at Craft Around the Clock. If you are coming alone please let me know your crafting interests so that I can seat you near others with the same interest.
My goal for you: To relax doing what you love!
While I would love for you to join me in the classroom, workshops are optional. I do ask that if you know you want to participate in a workshop or make a specific card on the buffet, please email me your reservations. All kits will be on a first come first serve basis.
I will be placing an order for last minute Stampin’ Up supplies on: Feb 2, 2026, please email me by this date if you want to place an order for Stampin’ Up products that I can deliver to you at Sandy Cove.
My crafting experience includes: Crochet, Scrapbooking, Sewing Costumes, Jewelry Making, Macrame, Quilting, Kid’s crafts and of course Card Making. I like to try new crafts and I hope to always have at least one workshop that isn’t paper crafting so we can try new crafts together.
Below is a list of things I need to know to do my best to make your crafting experience great! Keep in mind the window rooms are highly requested and I will do my best to seat as many people in them as I can without overcrowding them.
My goals for figuring out seating in the craft rooms:
NOTE: These are goals and there are always extenuating circumstances that may prevent some of these goals from being met. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I do my very best to meet your requests.
Bay Rooms – I fill the bay conference rooms with 8ft tables for crafting. Each table will be shared by two people so that each person has a 4ft crafting space. If your group has exactly 4 people then I will sit you at two 8ft tables facing each other. For larger or smaller groups, at least one member of your group will be sharing an 8ft table with a member from another group, but you will still be next to your group. The two bay rooms are Ritter (room for 32 crafters) and Prichett (room for 18 crafters).
Non Bay Rooms – There are four conference rooms across the hall from the bay window conference rooms. One of these rooms is the classroom, Hatfield, and the other three rooms are for Crafters: Supplee, Guistwite, and Milburn. I can comfortably fit 16 six ft tables in these rooms as long as I have enough 6 ft tables available to me. What this means is that those who craft in the Non bay rooms typically get a 6ft table to themselves. This is great for those who like to bring their sewing machine or those who just like a little extra space.
I need to know
- the names of people in your group that you want to share crafting space with
- if you are a group of two, please let me know if you want to sit beside each other or across from each other.
- the names of other groups you would like to be in the same crafting room with if possible
- special needs (like location to outlets, windows, shared cutting table for crafters who sew, snack table etc.). NOTE: you will still need to bring extension cords because outlets are not plentiful.
- (optional) Workshop reservations (you can pre earn a door prize ticket for each class you make reservations for)
- (optional) Stampin’ Up Order (need this by Feb 2, 2026)

Card Buffet
Fee: $2.75 per card
Preordering cards is helpful for me to prepare enough materials. If you know which cards you would like to make, please send me an email with the the letter and quantity of the cards you would like to make. For example: A 1, C 2, & D 1 (This means you want to make 1 of card A, 2 of card C and 1 of card D. I will have them waiting for you in the classroom. You will also earn extra door prize tickets if you preorder kits.) I have limited card kits available. The Designer Series Paper used in the cards may vary, but will be very similar to the one shown in the picture.
Everything you need to make one of the above pictured cards will be in a shoebox in the classroom. Tracie will be available to help you if you need it or if you are an experienced card maker you can make the card at your leisure. All materials are pre cut and ready to stamp and assemble. Sometimes other sentiments are available if you don’t like the sentiment used in the sample. Just ask Tracie or one of her helpers.
(Hatfield is closed during workshops/devotions/meals/& game time)
Paper Pumpkin Kit Buffet Card Sets
Fee: $6 / 3 card kit
Each of the sets below are from Stampin’ Up’s Monthly Subscription service. I use them in this setting to let you experience how the kits work and to see what comes in your box if you should choose to buy a subscription. The price for each kit is below each picture. Kits are on a first reserve first come basis. Most sets are $6 each but there are a few exceptions. Prices are marked below the picture. Feel free to email me which card sets you would like to place on hold by sending me the 3 or 4 digit number underneath each picture or you can send me the title. There are some older Paper Pumpkin Sets that I have taken a $1 off so they are $5 a set unless otherwise stated.
Discounted Paper Pumpkin Buffet Below: Fees vary
Scrapbooking Alternatives using Select Paper Pumpkin Card Kits
Below are some scrapbooking pages that I have designed using the cards and envelopes from Paper Pumpkin kits. Some of the kits are on the Paper Pumpkin Buffet above and some are not. I have limited supplies to make the following pages. Feel free to pre order ahead of time by sending me an email.
These kits are not precut. I will have directions printed and I will also be available to answer questions. All of these pages use the Mosaic Moments grid method so I will have my rulers there for you to use to make your grid lines.
Prices vary based on the Paper Pumpkin Kit and how many sheets of card stock are used to complete the pages as shown.
Mini Chenille Stem Flower Bouquet Class – Max 12 people
Instructor: Tracie Clarke
When: Friday at 7 PM
Fee: $5
Description: We will make 3 different types of flowers. We will make them using the colors above unless you tell me ahead of time what colors you would like to use. We will make 3 of the daisies, 2 rose like flowers, and 2 tulip like flowers. We are using mini jam jars as the vase and I will have different ribbons for you to choose from to tie around your arrangement. This is a miniature arrangement that would look great on a window sill, office desk, or a bookshelf. It measures approximately 4 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide.
Materials Needed: I will have some needle nose pliers and wire cutters but not enough for the whole class, so if you have some, please bring them with you. Also bring sharp scissors for cutting the fuzz off the chenille stem for the blue flower. I will provide the chenille stems, ribbon, and jar.
Mosaic Scrapbook Class Using your Card Kit (from your favor bag) – Max 12 people
Instructor: Tracie
When: Saturday 10:15 AM
Fee per Scrapbook Page: $3 for the scrapbook materials to turn 1 of your free card kits into it’s coordinating page pictured below.
Fee to turn both your card kits into the coordinating page below: $6 (must bring your two free kits)
All 3 Pages: $11 (must bring your two free card kits and I will provide you with the 3rd so you can make all three pages picture below)
I will provide each Craft Around the Clock attendee 2 card kits that you can make at anytime during the weekend. Since some of you prefer to scrapbook instead of making cards, this class will provide the opportunity to turn your card kits into scrapbook pages using the Mosaic Moments Grid technique. I do not know which 2 card kits you will receive in your favor bag out of the three designs that are available, but I will have extra card kits available to purchase if you would like to make all three scrapbook pages.
Supplies are limited so if you want to make all 3 pages please RSVP.
NOTE: You will be using the Mosaic Moments Scrapbooking 1” grid technique.
Origami Flower Demonstration (Max 12 people)

The purpose of this class is to demonstrate how to make the Origami flower that I will have available to you on the Craft Buffet. If you would like to make one as I demonstrate the technique please RSVP. If you just want to watch how it is made, feel free to come with out signing up.
Time: Saturday at 3 pm
Fee: $1.50/flower if you want to make one while I demonstrate
Materials Needed: None. Everything you need will be in the classroom.
Fun Fold Card Class (Max 12 people)

In this class we will be making 6 cards. There are three basic card designs but we will be using the Memories and More cards so each card will be a different color scheme.
Time: Saturday at 7 pm
Fee: $18
(RSVP to Tracie to craftwithtlc@gmail.com)
Materials Needed: None. Everything you need will be in the classroom unless you don’t like using liquid glue. Bring your double sided adhesive runner if you prefer.
Misc Craft Project Kits available in the Classroom
Instructor: Written instructions or YouTube Video (link will be provided) and Tracie if Needed
When: Throughout the weekend
Fee: Price Varies by Project
Projects include: Jenga Block Ornaments or Glue Holders, Diamond Painting Cards (mostly valentines), Sticker by Number sheets, and Diamond Painting 4″ x 6″ Christmas Ornaments, Bugs and Butterflies.
NEW PROCEDURE: Since Diamond Painting can sometimes take a while I have devised a way for you to take the project materials back to your craft table instead of working on it in the classroom. Of course you do have to keep in mind other people may be waiting on the materials to make their project. We shall test it and see how it goes. Basically if you buy one of the small projects from the Craft Buffet, you will then take the bag of diamond dot materials to your craft table. When the project is complete please return the materials bag back to the Class room.
Door Prizes
To save your crafting time, you will need to have all your door prize tickets entered by 10 AM Sunday Morning (directly after devotions). At this time my helpers and I will take them into the classroom and draw the winning names and write them down in the order they were drawn. At 11:00 AM on Sunday I will make the announcements of the winners. If you are not there or do not arrange for a friend to pick up your door prize, it will go to the next person on the list.
