Split Front Card

December 10, 2021 by Tracie

This weeks card is from my in person class this week at the Havre de Grace VFW (Friday, December 10, 2021 at 6pm) and Mac Greggor’s restaurant in Havre de Grace (Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2pm). It looks like I may have left over kits from these events so please email me if you want to see about purchasing a kit.

I made this card a Christmas card but it could easily be made a winter birthday card by changing the sentiment on the inside. You can also change the placement of the spanner piece if you want something to peek around one side. The size of the spanner piece can also totally change the look of the card. This is a quick and easy card that also makes for a beautiful display card. Materials and measurements can be found in the free download below the picture of the card.

Don’t forget to sign up for my email list. I normally only email you once a week to announce the new blog entry, but sometimes it is my only way to let you know about surprise sale or free shipping days that Stampin’ Up announces at the last minute. So sign up so you don’t miss another pop up sale or free shipping day.

Below is a picture of the inside of the card. From the picture above you can see that the snowflakes are seen while the card is closed. NOTE: If you have the Snowman Season set and are wondering about the Merry Christmas sentiment, I cut mine in half so that I could stack the Merry on top of the Christmas. Some people don’t like cutting there stamps but I find it makes some sentiments more flexible. I only make one cut, usually at an angle, so that I can easily put the stamps back together on the block to use as it was originally intended.
