Brushed With Beauty Cards Part 2

This week’s card features many of the products from the Brushed with Beauty Suite. This is a shutter fold card which is cut differently than ones featured on previous blog post. Unfortunately the embellishments used in the center of the flowers have been discontinued after the card was designed. When items are first discontinued they are added to the “Last Chance” area of the online store. This “Last Chance” area can be found under the menu titled “Specials” at the top of the home page when shopping at stampinup.com
The New Mini Catalog is now live and items are available to purchase. Don’t forget there are more new items under the Online Exclusive section of the online store. Not all the new products are listed in the catalog.
This is also the 2nd month of Stampin’ Ups new product of the month promotion. It started in December with a DSP pack called “True Blue Florals” and this month the product is “Fabulous Sayings” Check out the details below.
I am using a different software to type up the free downloadable instructions. Unfortunately they seems to be a bit longer, but hopefully the space allows for better clarity of how to make the cards.

When you purchase $75 in retail merchandise you may choose to purchase the Product of the Month for $5. You may only purchase the product of the month once for any given month. If you don’t place an order one month and don’t want the current “Product of the Month” you can choose to purchase whichever product of the month is still available that you have not previously purchase. Some months the item might sell out quickly and other months it may be available for well past the month. Each month a new product will be released so keep checking.

Class Fee: $28 plus Postage if necessary (calculated when ready to ship)

Class Description: We will be making 2 each of the cards pictured above. The bottom left card uses a new natural paper product and each of your cards will feature a different shade. Basically the two cards will have the same exact design but the top most rectangle that the leaf is glued to will be in two different shades in your kit. All the other cards should come with the paper as shown.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything for your card kit is pre cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise indicated. Card kits never include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. It does include cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that are pictured in the class advertisement.  Instructions for card kits can be found on my blog so if you miss class, you will still be able to assemble your cards.

Delightful Wishes Three Tiered Card

This weeks card is a fancy fold card that is pretty easy to make. It has three layers that each open as a normal card would. The first layer is the front most layer and is the shortest tier followed by a medium tier and finally the back of the card base is the final tier in this three tiered card. Below is a picture of this same card using the Friends of the Ocean Suite. Full instructions below as a free printable.

Card Classes

April Card Class via Zoom – Last Call

April Card Class via Zoom

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025

Time: 6 pm

Class Fee: $22 plus S&H if shipping is necessary (calculated when ready to ship)

RSVP: March 29, 2025

Description: This card class includes 2 each of the four designs shown above. The top left hand card is a pop up card (see pictures below). The top right card design is a fun fold with a center that flips back and forth. The design on the front of this card is made using a stencil that will be provided for you. The bottom right hand card will require scissors to complete. We will be gluing the precut strips to the basic white mat and then trimming the excess.

What you will need for class: Glue, stamps, ink, scissors, daubers or markers for the stenciling. Inks I used for stenciling: Lemon Lolly, Garden Green & Flirty Flamingo. Inks I used for stamping: Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Boho Blue, and Copper Clay. Stamp sets I used: Simply Said and Cake Fancy.
