This week’s card is a Faux Diorama card combining the new In the Grove dies with the Grove dies and the Thoughtful Journey’s Designer Series Paper. It uses a full sheet of Pecan Pie cardstock to form the first card base and has an inner card base as well which allows for a 3 layered scene to be created while still leaving space on the inside to write your message. For all measurements and materials check out the free instructional pdf below.

August Zoom Card Classes
Invite a Friend/Beginner Class
Friday, August 2, 2024 at 7pm via zoom
RSVP by July 20, 2024
Fee: $5 plus $1 Shipping
In this class we will make a total of 3 cards, 1 of each design pictured above (The color of the first card will vary. ie. Everyone will receive this card in one of the 2024-2026 In-Colors). The purpose of this class is to invite friends who would like to try a class without a large monetary or time commitment OR for those who have followed my blog but weren’t sure about joining one of the other classes.
The class should no be much more than an hour via zoom. I will make the class kits in such away that your invited friend can do it in her own home without even investing in glue (just let me know and I will include some adhesive dots from one of my Paper Pumpkin Kits). Of course you are welcome to craft with your friend, but this is not required. The option outlined for friends of my current customers also applies to new customers.
BONUS for Current Customers: For each friend that you invite to this class who buys a kit and actually attends the class, you will receive a $5 coupon to use on a future class. There is no limit to how many coupons you can earn, the catch is they have to but a kit AND attend the class via zoom. They can email me directly to sign up or you can let me know that they want to sign up. I do need an email to send them their zoom invite and a mailing address to mail their kit unless you are delivering it to them.
Bonus for New Customers: If you enjoy the beginner class and decide to sign up for one of my Monthly classes you will get a $5 coupon to go towards your first regular zoom card class.
While no stamped images are included in the kit, I will be providing a computer generated alternative for new people who don’t yet own stamps yet. I can also provide adhesive dots for new people who don’t have glue.
Stampin’ Up Inks Used: Garden Green, Petunia Pop, and Misty Moonlight.
August 16, 2024 Zoom Card Class
Friday, August 16, 2024 at 7pm via zoom
RSVP by August 2, 2024
Fee: $24 plus $5.50 Shipping & Handling
In this class we will make a total of 8 cards, 2 of each design pictured above. There are a lot of small die cuts in several of these cards and while none of the cards are tricky, the gluing will be a little tedious. The birdhouse is the trickiest card because it involves using paper hinges to make the birdhouse float above the card. This is not a tricky technique but does require putting the pieces in a specific order to achieve the floating look. We of course will take each card step by step during class to be successful.
No stamped images are included in the kit, you must have your own stamps and ink to complete these cards. You must also have your own adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals are optional but I did use some for these cards. Stampin’ Up Inks Used: Misty Moonlight, Pecan Pie, & Moody Mauve
