This is the first card in the Mosaic Garden series of cards for the October Zoom Card Class.

This simple yet eye-catching card features two different patterns from the Mosaic Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. A piece of DSP is cut into a square and then simply cut on the diagonal to create an easy embellishment that can be used on all kinds of cards.

The DSP is matted with cardstock, helping the design really stand out against the lighter-colored DSP used for the background. The cardstock mat starts as a slightly larger square than the DSP and is then cut on the diagonal as well.

No complicated angles or tricky measurements are needed for this card! The diagonal cuts make it quick and easy to create, while still giving the card an interesting geometric look.
