Three Piece DSP Card

This week’s card kicks off our March Class projects! Each design will feature papers from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

This simple card is perfect for showcasing large-print DSP. By cutting the paper into three panels and adding small margins between each piece, you create a mosaic tile effect that adds visual interest without much extra work—while still keeping the full image visible.

Class Description:

We will be making 8 cards in this class, two of each design shown in the picture above. The video below shows the cards open so you can see all of the fancy and fun fold cards we’ll be creating.

Because these cards were designed using Specialty Designer Series Paper, and I used more than the usual amount on three of the four designs, the cost of this class is a little higher than normal. In addition, two of the cards use nearly three full sheets of cardstock, and metallic cardstock is used on two designs as well.

All of these special elements combined make these cards extra special — and a bit more expensive than our typical classes.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything in your card kit is pre-cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise noted. Card kits do not include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. Each kit does include the cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and any other embellishments shown in the class advertisement. Instructions for the card kits are available on my blog, so even if you miss class, you’ll still be able to assemble your cards.

Nature Walk Leaf Card

This week’s card is the final card featuring the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper pack. It is combined with Natural Hues Specialty Cardstock and showcases two die cuts from the Nature’s Symphony Die Set. The beautiful texture and color variation in the leaves were achieved by die cutting a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Nature Walk pack.   • Top left card: A 3-section puzzle slider card

  • Top right card: A simple card (the kit will include one Petal Pink card base as pictured and one Calypso Coral card base)

  • Bottom left card: A 4-section puzzle slider card

  • Bottom right card: The fancy fold card for the class, called a Hidden Door Card

Autumn Toile Circle Card

With the beginning of September comes the New Mini Catalog and Fall themed cards. Today’s card is a simple card made with the new Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper. Circle Tree Card Instructions

Last Call for September Card Class: Fall Cards

Class Description: We will be making 2 of each of the four cards in the picture. As pictured the tree card does not fit in an A2 envelope, but there is a modification that can be made so it does. The option will be shown during class.
