Simple Waterside Retreat Cards

This week’s cards are two simple designs featuring the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper and the new Words & Wishes Dies from Stampin’ Up! These cards are part of the upcoming Zoom Card Class being held on May 22, 2026.

Last week’s cards were a One Sheet Wonder using a single sheet of the Waterside Retreat DSP. Over the next two weeks, I will continue featuring this beautiful DSP with fun fold card designs. These upcoming cards are also part of the May Zoom Card Class.

After the catalog debut on May 9, 2026, the class calendar will be updated with photos of all upcoming card classes through August. Bonus Card Kits will also be available each month for those who enjoy creating cards on their own using a step-by-step tutorial.

Friday, June 19, 2026 – Zoom Card Class

Date: June 19, 2026

Class Description:

We will be making eight cards in this class — two of each design shown above. NOTE: right now their is just a partial picture, the full picture is coming after the debut.

  • Far Left: A Z-Fold card featuring a pop-up sentiment in the center.
  • Second Card: A floating flower card on a pop-out tower.
  • Third Card: A more basic design. Please note that the Designer Series Paper will vary depending on which section of the paper you receive.
  • Far Right: A Triple Z-Fold card.

All of these cards feature the new Velvet Meadows Designer Series Paper, giving each design a beautiful velvety texture.

The large pink die cut is created from a full sheet of the velvet cardstock and embossed using the new embossing die.

*All Kits Include:

  • Cardstock (cut, punched, embossed, scored, or die-cut)
  • Designer Series Paper (cut, punched, embossed, scored, or die-cut)
  • Embellishments shown in the picture (e.g., rhinestones, ribbon, etc.)
  • Envelopes

Kits Do NOT Include:

  • Stamped images
  • Stamps
  • Ink
  • Glue
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals (unless otherwise indicated; these are almost always optional)
  • Scissors

Bloom Boutique In-Color Cards

This week’s card is actually five quick and easy cards featuring the new Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper and the 2026–2028 In Colors by Stampin’ Up!®

These featured products will be available beginning May 5, 2026.

The cards are part of the upcoming Catalog Debut Zoom Class, which will be held on May 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The designs are intentionally kept simple so you can easily recreate them on your own, while still showcasing a variety of beautiful new products from the upcoming catalog.

If you’re signed up for the Debut, be sure to have your cards handy during the Zoom Class — they’ll be a great visual reference as we walk through the new catalog together.

Note: The products are not listed below since they have not officially been released yet.

May Zoom Card Class

Date: May 22, 2026
Time:  7 pm
Class Fee: $22 plus shipping if needed (calculated when ready to ship)

Class Description:

This class will require a bit of fussy cutting, as two of the four designs include cutting out the life vest and paddle. The life vests come in a variety of colors, so the ones in your kit may differ from those shown in the photo. However, they will all coordinate beautifully and come from the same sheet of Designer Series Paper.

We will make a total of eight cards in this class:

  • 2 Inside Box Cards (each featuring two life vests)
  • 2 Green Plaid Cards
    • Note: The sentiment on this card is a die cut and will be included in your kit.
  • 2 Bicycle Cards
    • Again, the sentiment is a die cut and will be included in your kit.
  • 2 Pocket Cards (shown at the bottom of the picture)
    • One blue card featuring floats
    • One green card featuring fish

These designs make great birthday cards! I used one of the new “manly” stamp sets, which includes “bruh” along with other fun slang sentiments.

*All Kits Include:

Catalog Debut Packet Part 1

This week’s cards are part of my upcoming Annual Catalog Debut class. While the chance to order a debut packet has ended you can still sign up to attend the Debut Class via Zoom and check out the new product. The new catalog is live so you are able to place orders for new merchandise, but I know some of you like to see cards made with it before you buy it, which is the purpose of the Catalog Debut party. This is your chance to ask questions as we look at new product and product samples together. It is also a chance to win door prizes. Send me an email if you would like to sign up.

This week’s post and next week’s post will feature cards made with the new 2024 – 2026 n-Colors and other new product in the catalog. Instructions are below in a free pdf file that you can use to make your own versions of these cards. (Note: Customers who are already signed up for the debut class can use the instructions below to make their cards when they receive their debut packet. Don’t forget to have the cards handy during class just in case you have a question about the products used.)

May Zoom Card Class

In this class we will make a total of 8 cards, 2 each of the 4 designs pictured above. The pot of Zinnias card is a pull out card and is shown open below. I used two online exclusive bundles for this class: Magnolia Wood and Simply Zinnia. One card is made with a carry over set from the last Mini Catalog called Wild Ferns. All paper is die cut and ready for you to assemble during the zoom card class.

No stamped images are included in the kit, you must have your own stamps and ink to complete these cards. You must also have your own adhesive and Stampin’ DImensionals are optional but I did use some for these cards. Stampin’ Up Inks Used: Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, Pebbled Path, Pretty in Pink
