This week features two cards made with a single piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from the Thoughtful Journeys paper pack. The free PDF file below will give you cutting instructions for cutting the DSP into 2 sections with very little left over. If you don’t want to throw out the leftovers the 3/4″ x 4″ piece could be used to decorate the inside Basic White piece of one of the cards. The pictures above show both card designs made with 3 different sheets of paper from the Thoughtful Journey DSP pack.
The circle card uses an old technique of die cutting (punches work too) part of the DSP and matting it and then attaching it back over the original place that it was cut from. Sometimes this technique is used to emphasize a beautiful flower or charater on the DSP, but in my case I used it to stamp the sentiment. I reattached the matted DSP to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals make the sentiment pop up from the background.
Hope you enjoy this week’s card and don’t forget to check out the Bundle sale going on through the month of June.

July’s Card Class via Zoom
Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 6pm via zoom
RSVP by June 29, 2024
Fee: $24 plus $5.50 Shipping & Handling
In this class we will make a total of 8 cards, 2 of each design pictured above. The Round We Go card does not fit in a regular envelope due to the thickness of the accordion folded circle and we will make this card in two different In-color combinations (the one pictured above, Pretty In Pink/Summer Splash and another one in Peach Pie/Shy Shamrock)
No stamped images are included in the kit, you must have your own stamps and ink to complete these cards. You must also have your own adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals are optional but I did use some for these cards. Stampin’ Up Inks Used: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Smoky Slate, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock, Basic Beige, Early Espresso, and Crumbcake
