This week’s card is an updated version of a pocket card I made back in 2021. Besides the obvious differences in colors and die cuts, this card saves Designer Series Paper. I’m not sure why I didn’t do this before, but I realized that the corner DSP can be cut from the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP used for the background of the card base. I was trying to make as many cards as I could from the Fitting Florets DSP for a swap and the need to stretch the paper as far as it would go was the reason for the light bulb to go off. Pretty obvious I know, but the need to save paper was not going through my mind when I made it the first time.

The Fitting Florets DSP was just released this month along with the Framed Florets Dies and Stamps. While the dies and stamps will be in the new mini catalog beginning in January, the DSP and a few other items will only be available while supplies last. Click here to see the full flyer.

A debut class is a walk through the catalog. I show examples made with the new product in the new catalog and we make a card or two using some of the new product. I also have door prizes which usually consist of some of the new Designer Series Paper or other new embellishments.
