This week’s free pdf file is a 2023 calendar instead of an instruction sheet. Since my first child was born I started making a photo calendar for the grandparent’s and other close family members. Sometimes I make it completely from scratch and other times I order one from the numerous photo companies out there. This year I wanted to make an 8″ x 8″ calendar since many photo places have collage photos that can be printed 8″ x 8″. By the time I was finished designing the calendar on my computer, I decided to print it on regular card stock and cut it to 8 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ so that the white cardstock would form a nice mat for my 8″ x 8″ pictures.

I used Happy Forest Friends to decorate the two calendars shown above, but I will decorate the others based on who I am giving them too. I printed a title for my calendar and used the Fabulous Frames Dies to cut it out and to frame it. I didn’t center the title because I didn’t like how it cut off the different animals in the DSP. I just kept moving it around the front til I liked the way it looked. I bound my calendar using the ProClick binding system that I have had for over 20 years, but most office places will bind them for you if you don’t own one.

A debut class is a walk through the catalog. I show examples made with the new product in the new catalog and we make a card or two using some of the new product. I also have door prizes which usually consist of some of the new Designer Series Paper or other new embellishments.

We will be making 8 cards, two each of the designs seen above. All the cards feature the Awash in Beauty DSP. Your kit will include all the pieces need to complete the above cards including embellishments and envelopes.

NOTE: No stamped images are in the kit, but the flowers shown are all dic cut from the DSP. You will need your own sentiment stamps and ink to finish the outside of the cards as well as your own glue. I used True Beauty and Framed Florets for my sentiments. I also used the True Beauty stamp set to decorate the inside of my cards. You are welcome to finish the cards how ever you like.

The card with the belly band features a tear off book mark which is why there is ribbon showing coming off the top.

Kit Extras: Your card kit will also include two extra pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ to make more cards. You will also receive one sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

We will meet on zoom to complete the cards and I draw names for door prizes! Email me if you would like to order a kit.
