Memorable Blooms Double Fold Card

This week’s card features a double fold card base, which actually means there is one smaller card base inside the regular card base. The Memorable Blooms Die set has a beautiful octagon perfect for making a pick through window which I used on the first card base. The same set has a floral die cut that makes a smaller octagon with a beautiful lacy floral bouquet. As always, check out the free instruction sheet for measurements and instructions.

February Card Class

Description: In this class we will be making 8 cards, two each of four designs pictured above. The top left card is an easel card featuring a trellis die that is mounted on a window sheet. We will be making the trellis card in the color shown as well as one in Flirty Flamingo. The bottom left card was originally designed by Sandi Hartka (my Stampin’ Up® Mentor/Up-line), but I did change the sentiment piece from her original design. The top right card is a simple silhouette card that will be made in the color shown and in Blackberry Bliss. The bottom right card is another double card base card and the tree is mounted on a window sheet while the blue DSP behind the tree is on the inside card base.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything for your card kit is pre cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise indicated. Card kits never include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. It does include cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that are pictured in the class advertisement. Instructions for card kits can be found on my blog so if you miss class, you will still be able to assemble your cards.

Butterfly Shaped Card

The title is a little misleading, because only the front of the card is shaped like a butterfly. The die cut can be used to shape the whole card, but in this case, just the front is shaped. Like last week’s card, this card features the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder dies as well as the Bloom Impressions Sale-A-Bration DSP. The background DSP is from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ DSP pack which is part of the Beautiful Bokeh Suite Collection (#164619 $79.25) which includes the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing folder, Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set, Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix.

Here is the inside of the card. I used a small diecut that would be completely hidden by the butterfly while the card was closed.
