This week’s card is the final card from my Christmas Card buffet at the November Craft Around the Clock at Sandy Cove. This was the favorite card and I sold all of the kits during the weekend. It’s actually a fun fold card that I cased from a fellow demonstrator. The front of the mini card base was made by stamping a multitude of poinsettias to a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla and then punching it out using the Postage Stamp Punch.
I recommend making a template if you want to line the words up correctly for punching. I simply cut a piece of 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ cardstock and only punched out the lower right hand corner. I laid this piece on top of my Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the sentiment first. I removed the template and stamped the poinsettias at random to fill the rest of the Very Vanilla piece of cardstock. After stamping I carefully punched out 4 rectangles. As I punch them out I laid them down in order. It’s amazing how tricky it can be trying to match them up again if you just let them fall on the table while punching.

A debut class is a walk through the catalog. I show examples made with the new product in the new catalog and we make a card or two using some of the new product. I also have door prizes which usually consist of some of the new Designer Series Paper or other new embellishments.

We will be making 8 cards, two each of the designs seen above. All the cards feature the Awash in Beauty DSP. Your kit will include all the pieces need to complete the above cards including embellishments and envelopes.
NOTE: No stamped images are in the kit, but the flowers shown are all dic cut from the DSP. You will need your own sentiment stamps and ink to finish the outside of the cards as well as your own glue. I used True Beauty and Framed Florets for my sentiments. I also used the True Beauty stamp set to decorate the inside of my cards. You are welcome to finish the cards how ever you like.
The card with the belly band features a tear off book mark which is why there is ribbon showing coming off the top.
Kit Extras: Your card kit will also include two extra pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ to make more cards. You will also receive one sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
We will meet on zoom to complete the cards and I draw names for door prizes! Email me if you would like to order a kit.
