Lights of Wonder Diorama Card

This week’s cards feature the Light and Wonder die cut set and the Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper. The first card is a diorama card featuring a mountain scene using a combination of dies for Light and Wonder and the Scenic Adventure die sets. The second card is a simple silhouette card, but the die cut of the trees against the Lights of Aurora paper make for a stunning card.

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025

Time: 6 pm

Class Fee: $26 plus Postage if needed (calculated

when ready to ship)

Class Description: We will be making two each of all four designs. Three of the card designs are fairly simple cards so that we have plenty of time to assemble the 3 tiered pull out card. Amazingly enough it is not a really thick card so it should mail quite well in a regular A2 sized envelope.

NOTE About Card Kits for Classes: Everything for your card kit is pre cut and ready to assemble unless otherwise indicated. Card kits never include stamped images, glue, or Stampin’ Dimensionals. It does include cardstock, die cuts, Designer Series Paper, ribbon, or other embellishments that are pictured in the class advertisement.  Instructions for card kits can be found on my blog so if you miss class, you will still be able to assemble your cards.

Sunrise Sailing Pop Up Card

This week’s card is a box pop up card. While at the first impression it may seem complicated, it is an easy card to cut and assemble. There is definitely an order to follow to make it easier to make. The instructions in the free pdf file below, have step by step directions as well as a diagram of the card from the side to help construct the card.

Last Call for July Card Class: Bright Florals

Date: Saturday July 19, 2025
Time: 6 pm
Class Fee: $25 plus S&H if shipping is necessary (calculated when ready to ship)
RSVP by: 6/20/25

Class Description: We will make 2 each of the four designs shown above. The fold out display card in the top middle of the picture will fit in the standard A2 envelope provided, but it does not meet the correct thickness standards for a first class postage stamp (ie: It will cost more to mail and will be safer in a padded envelope or enclosed with a gift package.) All the other cards should meet normal first class postage standards.

Virtual Album Retreat

The Virtual Album Retreat Kit is now available for purchase. See the flyer below to view the 12 double page spreads that the kit includes (24 pages total which comes to $10.42 a page). Everything will be pre cut and bagged for you per double page spread. Classes will be held via Facebook Live and recordings will be available if you can’t be online live. Click below for flyer.

The Kit includes: 12 page protectors, 2 exclusive stamp sets, flip flaps, die cut sheets labeled for each layout, 12 plastic bags with all the pieces precut to make each layout, several die cut sheets labeled for each project, more die cuts in black and white, matte dots, and baker’s twine. You will need to provide your own glue and dimensionals. Instructions for assembly will be done via Facebook Lives in a special Facebook group that you will be invited to join. If you can join live the videos will be in the group for you to access at your leisure.

Wisteria Diorama Card

I have posted a Diorama Card previously on my blog and you can click here to see it and get the measurements. I recently made a new version of the card using the new Wisteria dies in the Annual Catalog. The materials for this card can be found below.

While the outside is pretty, it is the inside that I love with its splash of colors. I just couldn’t seem to find space for the sentiment though, so I mounted a piece of Very Vanilla on the back of the card and used the Stitched with Whimsy die to give it some elegance. The diorama card is not a difficult card to make and it is such a nice surprise to open and find the unexpected.
