This week’s blog features two simple cards featuring the Delicate Forest Die Cut set and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. The forest die cut mixed with the DSP makes for a simple card to put together, but the intricacy of the die cut makes it a beautiful card.
The cards below are made with two 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of DSP and then cut in a stack according to the measurements in the free PDF below. Once the pieces are cut, I exchanged the skinny pieces and flipped one of them over to the other side. So it looks like I have used 3 different pieces of DSP, but have actually only used two.
While Sale-A-Bration is over, the mini catalog is still good to order from until April and beginning March 5th there will be new online exclusives from Stampin’ Up. See below for a sneak peak of some upcoming products.

April Zoom Card Class
Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 6 PM
RSVP by April 5, 2024 (but sooner is better)
Fee: $22 plus $4.50 shipping and handling
Class Fee: with optional Gift Box with 4 Note Cards on (see below): $34 + $5.50 shipping and handling
In this class we will make a total of 8 cards, 2 each of the 4 designs pictured above. The submarine and hot air ballon cards are both pop up display cards. The tools card is a basic card, but as you can see includes a lot of die cuts. The final Ice Cream card is actually a pocket card and the ice cream cone itself comes out and flips open. See below for a picture. Notice the Designer Series Paper is different on the ice cream card pictured below from the one in the picture above. You will receive one of each card in your kit, so they will not be exactly the same.
You will need your paper snips (scissors) for this class to trim off the circle die cut in the ice cream card. No stamped images are included in the kit, so have your own stamps and ink ready to complete these cards. I used Azure Afternoon and Pool Party ink from Stampin’ Up.

I used Pool Party and Calypso Coral Ink for my cards. I will be making a video to show you how to assemble the cards. You will need your own glue and scissors as well.
