This weeks card is an overlapping gate fold card using the Around the Bend die set for the top flap. This flap is embellished with Brushed Bouquet Die flowers that were sponged with ink before using to cut and emboss the card stock. Unfortunately several items to make this card are being discontinued at the end of the month and some of the items have already sold out. I am still posting this card because it is the last card featured in my zoom class this Saturday and I like my customers to have an instructional sheet to go along with the zoom instruction if they choose to print it. The good news is the Around the Bend die is continuing into the New Annual Catalog that comes out in May so this card can still be made but embellished differently.

This class will include all the materials to make the cards pictured above except ink and stamps. We will make 3 of each design. The Lantern card is actually a Give it a Whirl Card so when you spin the very vanilla disc it will reveal lit fireflies. The middle card features two edging dies from the Around the Bend die cut set that gives the beautiful curve to the card front. The final card will feature a new technique using watercolor paper. You will need some water based markers and a water spritzer to learn this technique (NOTE: If you are concerned about this technique I can substitute the watercolor paper with some discontinued DSP that has the same technique without the work. Just let me know your preference.)
New 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog Debut Class!
