Sunrise Sailing Pop Up Card

June 20, 2025 by Tracie

This week’s card is a box pop up card. While at the first impression it may seem complicated, it is an easy card to cut and assemble. There is definitely an order to follow to make it easier to make. The instructions in the free pdf file below, have step by step directions as well as a diagram of the card from the side to help construct the card.

The Sunrise Sailing bundle includes the stamp set, hybrid embossing folder, and dies. Check out last week’s blog to see other cards made with this bundle.

Card partially opened and you can just see the pop up pansy on the inside of the card.

This is the inside of the card and the pansy is on a small box that makes it stand out from the background but the card folds flat when closed and fits in a regular A4 envelope.

Upcoming Class: Annual Catalog Debut

I know it is a month earlier than usual but Stampin’ Up has made changes to their catalogs. The Annual Catalog will now be May through April each year instead of June through May and our mini catalogs will each last 6 months. The current mini goes from January through June and the new mini will start in July and go through December (NOTE: Due to the world wide shipping crisis the new mini will be delayed by one month so this year it will come out in August.)
I will be charging $5 (plus $2 for S&H) for materials this time to help defray cost and your packet will include materials to make 3 cards using new supplies from the new catalog, samples of the 5 new in-colors and a door prize. I will put door prizes in envelopes and randomly distribute them through out the packet so I won’t even know who got what until our zoom meeting. There are some beautiful new flower dies and super cute punches in the new catalog and I can’t wait to share them with you on the 14th.
If you don’t want the packet but still want to come click interested instead of going so that I will send you the link but not the packet.
RSVP by April 24, 2021 if you want the packet. Fee for Packet $5 plus $2 S&H
You can also RSVP on my Facebook page in the events section or you can email me directly.
