Tri Easel Card

This weeks card is a Tri Easel card. I did use the Sunshine and Rainbows DSP for the background triangles which is no longer available, sorry about that, but I really like the way it turned out. The cactus is punched from the Artfully Composed DSP. I will be honest and say when I first saw the Artfully Composed DSP I did not care for it because the print was large and busy, but then I took a look at the other side and love it. I thought the green was perfect for the cactus punch and the flower was punched from the Calypso Coral piece of DSP. So while I haven’t used the large floral busy side, I am loving the subdubed side.

Thursday, March 17, 2022: Free Demonstration Class

RSVP by March 16, 2022

I will send out the zoom invites on the 16th. This is a free class and I will go over how to construct the card base for the infinity card featured on my March 4th blog entry. If you want to make the card along with me, make sure you have the following materials on hand: Paper Trimmer and Cardstock for the card base and have Designer Series Paper (DSP), stamps, ink, diecuts and or punches to decorate your card.

RSVP by April 1 , 2022 to order a card kit

Card Kit: $22 plus($4 S&H)

We will make a total of 8 cards. Two butterfly balcony cards which are pictured in the center, 3 Symbols of Fortune Cards which are pictured on the right  and 3 Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper cards which are pictured on the left. The Symbols of Fortune cards, open a bit differently. The long Skinny piece at the bottom flips open to the left and the center DSP flips up. Your two butterfly cards will look exactly the same but as you can see from the picture, the other 6 cards will be a mix of all 6 designs from the DSP packs.

I have held several classes here for members of the VFW post but if you are local and would like to come, they welcome outside guests. We will be making 9 cards, 3 each of the 3 designs in the picture above. The tulip card is a double easel card and will be in three different colors. The sentiments can also be changed so that you can have Birthday or Thinking of You cards  if you don’t need Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards.

4 x 5 1/4 DSP Cards Part 2

This week is Part 2 of 4 and features two different cards made with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP. Unlike the daisy cards, the new version of these cards are using colors other than Basic White for the card base. Both these cards feature new builder punches in the 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog. I have paired the Lady Bug Builder punch with the Sweet Talk DSP to make a cute valentine card. I paired the Hedgehog builder punch with the Free Sale-A-Bration DSP called Sunshine and Rainbows. This two would make a cute non traditional Valentine card. The sentiment on the Hedgehog card is also from a Free Sale-A-Bration set called Special Moments.

Friday, January 14, 2022: 2022 Mini Catalog Debut Class – Free

A Debut class is where I show off new product in the newest catalog. Everyone who RSVP’s on my Stampin’ Up Events page by January 1, 2022 will receive a free card kit. If you invite a friend that has never been to one of my classes  then you and your friend will receive a bonus card kit.

I have to order catalogs by November 30th if you want a paper copy mailed directly to you. There will be another Sale-A-Bration during the months of January and February so you should receive two catalogs.

Friday, January 28, 2022: Beauty of the Earth Class

We will be making 8 cards: two Snowflakes in a Box cards, two Accordion Forrest cards, 2 Tailored Punch cards, and 2 Quarter Square Triangle Cards. All the cards feature DSP from the Beauty of the Earth pack. Depending on what sentiments you choose to use they could be used for a multitude of occasions. Remember that material kits do not come with any stamped images so you will need to have your own sentiment stamps and ink. Let me know if you need suggestions for basic sentiment sets. I will be using Night of Navy and Early Espresso inks for the card class.

Material kit are $22 plus $4 shipping and handling if you need me to mail your kit.
