The NEW Stampin’ Up January – April 2023 Mini Catalog is now available. Next Friday I will be holding a catalog debut via Zoom. Email me if you would like to come. For those who RSVP’d by the deadline, I mailed your packets yesterday. Your packet contains 3 note card kits using some of the new products from both the Mini Catalog and the new Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Instead of taking time during the debut to make the card kits, I have made a video showing you how to assemble your kits.

Each of the cards features a sheet of Designer Series Paper from 3 different packs in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The Sale-A-Bration catalog are items that can only be earned by purchasing $50 in retail from the new mini catalog or the annual catalog. Some of the free items require a $100 retail purchase. You can also earn free Sale-A-Bration items by buying kits or a paper pumpkin subscription. Basically anything you order from Stampin’ Up will go towards earning you free merchandise from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. This is a limited time offer and the end of February will conclude Sale-A-Bration until next year! That’s right, as of right now, Stampin’ Up is going back to only having Sale-A-Bration once a year so that they can implement new sales through out the year! I will update you as I learn about new products and sales!

We will be making 8 cards, two each of the designs seen above. All the cards feature the Awash in Beauty DSP. Your kit will include all the pieces need to complete the above cards including embellishments and envelopes.

NOTE: No stamped images are in the kit, but the flowers shown are all dic cut from the DSP. You will need your own sentiment stamps and ink to finish the outside of the cards as well as your own glue. I used True Beauty and Framed Florets for my sentiments. I also used the True Beauty stamp set to decorate the inside of my cards. You are welcome to finish the cards how ever you like.

The card with the belly band features a tear off book mark which is why there is ribbon showing coming off the top.

Kit Extras: Your card kit will also include two extra pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ to make more cards. You will also receive one sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

We will meet on zoom to complete the cards and I draw names for door prizes! Email me if you would like to order a kit.

Specialty 6″ x 6″ DSP Card

This week’s card uses an entire 6″ x 6″ piece of Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Lights Aglow SDSP pack. I saw the cutting layout for the DSP on another demonstrator’s website and failed to mark the website. My version adds a few more layers and I used the Banners Pick a Punch to embellish the 1″ x 3 3/4″ piece for the inside. The SDSP that I chose just needed the extra layers to make it really pop. So keep in mind when you make your own that a different DSP may look fine without all the extra layers of cardstock. Below you will find a free pdf with measurements and materials used. 5 Easy Note Cards

Tonight is my July – December Mini Catalog Debut class via Zoom. I show some of the new products from the catalog and those who registered in time received two free card kits. The above picture shows the possibilities for one of the card kits that they received.

Today’s blog entry is to give ideas for how they can put together their card kit. They will also have the option of coming up with their own design and I will post those designs in an upcoming blog post. These designs are similar to designs I have posted before with the main difference being that these are note card size (3 1/2″ x 5″). For each of the cards I have cut a piece of Soft Suede to completely cover the front of the note card. The Designer Series Paper used to make all of these cards comes from the Rings of Love DSP pack which can be earned free by placing a $50 on my Stampin’ Up shopping site.

Rings of love is just one of the many freebies that can be earned during Sale-A-Bration which is going on now through the end of August. Remember, all Sale-A-Bration items are first come first served. Once they are gone, they are gone! Shop now to get your favorites!

Second Card Kit

The following is a picture of the second card kit that each attendee received if they registered by June 20, 2022. It is made using a white Note Card from Stampin’ Up and the Wonderful World DSP and the Silver & Gold Specialty DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
