I first learned about the color blocking technique 15 years ago in a scrapbooking class. Typically I would leave space between the different colors of cardstock to create margins around each color, but for these cards, I decided to glue the cardstock right next to each other after I stamped them. I used two different stamp sets and punches to design these two cards.
You can adjust the size of your cardstock to match a particular stamp or you can move the pieces around. The four pieces of cardstock that I cut equal 4″ x 5 1/4 “. All my measurements and supply list are in the free pdf file below. The Whale card features all 5 of the 2022-2024 Stampin’ Up In Colors. The In Colors are available now on my shopping website along with all the other products used for these cards.

We will make 8 cards in this class and the materials kit is $22 plus $4 shipping and handling. We will be making 2 of each card. All paper will be cut and scored ready for you to assemble during class. No stamped images will be provided, but the Designer Series Paper adds all the color to these cards so you will simply need some sentiments to finish them off. I instruct how to assemble the cards during the zoom class and you will need to provide your own glue.
