Triple Sheet Wonder Part 1

This weeks project requires 3 sheets of 6″ x 6″ DSP and coordinating cardstock. I actually used another 3 sheets of DSP to die cut the stockings for my cards, but you could easily add a stamped image instead of a die cut. I have included card sketches for 3 different cards you can make from this cutting plan. Using these 3 plans, you will be able to make 6 of card A, 2 of card B, and one of the card C for a total of 9 cards. Next week I will show card sketches for a way to take the pieces for three of the Card A pieces to make 4 different card variations. While I made my cards with Christmas DSP you can make them with any DSP that you like. Choosing DSP with small prints and no direction work best.

Friday, January 14, 2022: 2022 Mini Catalog Debut Class – Free

A Debut class is where I show off new product in the newest catalog. Everyone who RSVP’s on my Stampin’ Up Events page by January 1, 2022 will receive a free card kit. If you invite a friend that has never been to one of my classes  then you and your friend will receive a bonus card kit.

I have to order catalogs by November 30th if you want a paper copy mailed directly to you. There will be another Sale-A-Bration during the months of January and February so you should receive two catalogs.

To the Moon One Sheet Wonder

In honour of the Hubble Space Telescope coming back online after being broken for the last month, I made some cards using the Stampin’ Up!® “To The Moon” stamp set which is new in this year’s Annual Catalog. While this one sheet wonder is made for a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP, I actually used a 5 1/2″ x 6″ piece of Peaceful Place Specialty DSP from the new mini catalog that comes out August 4, 2021. I think it is technically a snowy scene but I thought it went great with my star and moon filled cards. All the measurements and materials are listed in the free pdf file below. Mini Catalog Debut and Fall Sale-A-Bration Friday, August 6, 2021 7pm

I am going to try something a little different this time since I feel like we are still getting use to the new annual catalog. I will not mail out packets before class but have ordered catalogs for those who normally ask for one. I will email several documents to those who RSVP for class by July 30th which is the same day to RSVP and pay for the August Card class advertised below. The catalog debut will be FREE this time and I will still have multiple door prize drawings throughout the party. All orders placed using the Catalog Debut Hostess code or placed an order through me for the Catalog Debut party will be entered into a drawing to win the Stampin’ Rewards for the Party. You will earn one ticket for each $50 in retail you spend, and remember it is Sale-A-Bration time again so you can also choose a free gift from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog with any $50 retail purchase. All orders will need to be placed by August 13, 2021 and I will have someone draw a name from the bucket and contact the winner to finish the order.

Saturday, August 28, 2021 Card Class 6pm

We will be making 2 waterfall cards using Floral Squares, 3 cards using Beauty of the Earth DSP, and a gift set of 3 note cards using Bloom Where you are Planted. As always you are welcome to come to class just to watch or you can purchase a set of materials for $22 and $3 shipping if you need it mailed. I can not send stamped images so you must provide your own ink and stamps, but all paper is die cut, punched, scored, and ready to assemble. You can RSVP via email and payments can be made by PayPal or Venmo. RSVP no later than July 30th. I will definitely need to purchase materials before assembling kits.

NOTE: The Gift Card Set was inspired by the set made by Rachel Tessman

This is just a short video to show you the waterfall card we will be making. For those who made the Seashell card at Sandy Cove, this is a much easier card to make and I think you will even make some on your own. We will make one of each color in class and after I made the video I added some cute sentiments to the pull down section of the card.

6 x 6 One Sheet Wonders Featuring 3″ Squares

Yes, it is another one sheet wonder project using 6″ x 6″ paper. Of course you can use whatever size paper you wish, but I love being able to use every last bit of DSP to design cards. This week’s DSP (Designer Series Paper) also comes from the new Butterfly Bijou DSP pack that has recently been released by Stampin’ Up. While I have featured a one sheet wonder class with 3×3 inch squares, this week shows you four different ways you can cut the 3×3 inch squares to get a different look on each card. I hope you enjoy! NOTE: I saw a mistake in one of my measurements so I have corrected it and updated it as of  10 pm March 28, 2021.

Time to say goodbye to the 2019 – 2020 In-colors and many other products in the 2020 – 2021 Annual Catalog. The current mini catalog is good until June 30, 2021 and you will see a few of those items carrie over into the new Annual Catalog that goes live May 4th, 2021.

To clarify about the bundles in the Last Chance Products sale: You will no longer be able to buy the bundles from the Annual Catalog but some of the stamps, dies and punches are being continued but not as a bundle. So you may see the bundle marked as last chance but not the stamp set. It can be a little confusing. Bouquets, Boats, & Berries Class at the VFW in Havre de Grace, MD

I will be teaching a class at the VFW in Havre de Grace, MD on April 24, 2020 from 5pm – 8pm. This is the third class I have held there and we have had a great time. Tickets cost $25 and cover the cost of your card kit, light refreshments and door prizes. The class is limited to 20 people so that we can maintain social distancing, but it is a large room on the 2nd floor of the post. The 9 cards we are making are pictured below and I have designed them so that each one is different even though technically we are only making 3 each of 3 different designs. I will have several sentiments for you to choose from so that you can make the cards fit your needs.
