DSP Framed Card

This week’s card is the first of a three week series featuring the cards from my January Zoom card class. All four cards in this class feature the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. The flowers on the front of the card are cut directly from a sheet of DSP using the Organic Beauty Dies.

Below I show a picture of the same card using the True Beauty stamp set which also coordinates with the Organic Beauty Dies so that when the DSP is no longer in available you can still die cut beautiful flowers in whatever color you wish. I’m sorry to say that I accidentally used a discontinued embossing folder for the mat. I have since removed it from my basket of current Stampin’ Up supplies, but I didn’t want to change it for class because it was a beautiful embossing folder.

Jan 2023 Debut Class Note Cards

The NEW Stampin’ Up January – April 2023 Mini Catalog is now available. Next Friday I will be holding a catalog debut via Zoom. Email me if you would like to come. For those who RSVP’d by the deadline, I mailed your packets yesterday. Your packet contains 3 note card kits using some of the new products from both the Mini Catalog and the new Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Instead of taking time during the debut to make the card kits, I have made a video showing you how to assemble your kits.

Each of the cards features a sheet of Designer Series Paper from 3 different packs in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The Sale-A-Bration catalog are items that can only be earned by purchasing $50 in retail from the new mini catalog or the annual catalog. Some of the free items require a $100 retail purchase. You can also earn free Sale-A-Bration items by buying kits or a paper pumpkin subscription. Basically anything you order from Stampin’ Up will go towards earning you free merchandise from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. This is a limited time offer and the end of February will conclude Sale-A-Bration until next year! That’s right, as of right now, Stampin’ Up is going back to only having Sale-A-Bration once a year so that they can implement new sales through out the year! We will be making 8 cards, two each of the designs seen above. All the cards feature the Awash in Beauty DSP. Your kit will include all the pieces need to complete the above cards including embellishments and envelopes.

NOTE: No stamped images are in the kit, but the flowers shown are all dic cut from the DSP. You will need your own sentiment stamps and ink to finish the outside of the cards as well as your own glue. I used True Beauty and Framed Florets for my sentiments. I also used the True Beauty stamp set to decorate the inside of my cards. You are welcome to finish the cards how ever you like.

The card with the belly band features a tear off book mark which is why there is ribbon showing coming off the top.

Kit Extras: Your card kit will also include two extra pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ to make more cards. You will also receive one sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

We will meet on zoom to complete the cards and I draw names for door prizes! Email me if you would like to order a kit.

Friends are Like Seashells Frame

For my last post for 2022, I have another friendship frame featuring the Friends are like Seashells stamp set, coordinating Seaside Seashell dies and the Seashell 3D embossing folder. These products are all in the current annual Stampin’ Up catalog. I also through in a palm tree from the Palm dies to add a splash of color.
